About the Ripton Community Coffee House

The Ripton Community Coffee House is a nonprofit organization based in Ripton, Vermont. We have presented concerts since May, 1995, but we held our final concert on May 18, 2024 and have now concluded our concert series.

Our mission has been to provide an opportunity for members of our greater community to come together and hear great music at an affordable price, to nurture musicians by providing a great place to play, and to provide support for local nonprofit organizations through refreshment sales.

Entirely run by volunteers, the money we received went to the performers, the sound engineer, and to cover our expenses. The Ripton Community House is ADA accessibility compliant. Our entry fee was $15 for General Admission or $20 - $25 or more for Generous Admission, but people could pay whatever they felt they could afford, even if that was nothing.
